MY STORY
Hey, there! I’m Trisha Mellon, a Latina voice actor based in Dallas, Texas.Playing pretend and making people laugh immediately became my obsession at a young age, along with creating and telling stories through drawings and paintings. Growing up watching a myriad of animated classics, I also developed a love for animation, which I eventually pursued at The Art Institute of Dallas, graduating with a BFA in Media Arts and Animation. Throughout my college education, I honed my performance skills by frequently acting in theatrical productions scattered across DFW, from upbeat musicals, to tear-filled dramas, to lively children's theatre. I even spent an absolutely thrilling three years working as a professional scare actor for many horrifying characters at the insanely popular DFW haunted house, Dark Hour Haunted House! Soon after my college graduation, I was fortunate enough to land a job at Explosm, a DFW-based animation studio best known for being the home of the popular YouTube animated series, “Cyanide and Happiness”, where I also began lending my voice to many of their animated projects.
Ever since, I have led several anime from Crunchyroll (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!, Gods Games We Play, Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse, among others) and have appeared in many other titles such as Dragon Ball DAIMA, One Piece, and Gachiakuta. Outside of anime, I have expanded my voiceover career into the worlds of animated short films, video games, web series, and more. In addition, I have also continued to perform in theatrical productions. With one foot in my love for performing and one foot in my love for animation, I could never have asked for a better field to thrive in. Outside of my work, you can find me chasing after my feisty Boston terrier or out catching the latest horror flick with my husband. |
